Fast forward to Future Sight, where the dredge deck picked up quite a few helping hands, most notably in the form of Narcomoeba and Bridge From Below, which really allowed the deck to utilize "free" Dread Returns and make boatloads of zombies, generally reanimating a Flame-Kin Zealot to deal a huge amount of damage in one turn.Īlong the way, dredge has picked up multiple additions and tools to help the strategy, but other decks have also been rewarded with powerful hate cards that can stop a dredge player cold.

For those of you who don't know, dredge is a mechanic that was released with the original Ravnica block, and featured cards such as Stinkweed Imp, Golgari Grave-Troll, and Darkblast, but was never quite enough to make it a powerful strategy. Hey guys! Back for you today with another article, and today we will be talking about dredge, one of my favorite mechanics, especially in Vintage.
